Security arrangements on for Corporation re-polls: Saran

Chennai, Feb 13 (UNI) City Police Commissioner Letika Saran today said elaborate security arrangements were made for the smooth conduct of Corporation re-polls on February 18.

Talking to newspersons here, she said sensitive booths were identified and special security force would monitor it.

She said the department had sought additional strength from neighbouring districts.

As many as 60 history-sheeters were arrested as a preventive measure.
