Sriganganagar, Feb 13 (UNI) A local court has ordered a probe by a top police official into a complaint against Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and senior Housing Board officials alleging fraud and criminal conspiracy.

Chief Judicial Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Gakhar has asked Additional Superintendent of Police to probe into a complaint by one Krishna Kant, a lawyer, who alleged that his allotment in the Sriganganagar Housing Board Colony was cancelled ''in retaliation'' as he had filed a court complaint in the Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Trust land scam.

He had named Chief Minister Ms Raje, Home minister Gulab Chand Kataria and Local Self-Government Minister Pratap Singh Singhvi in the case.

The CJM has ordered the probe report to be produced in the court on April 12.

According to Housing Board officials, the allotment was cancelled as arrears to the tune of Rs 2.5 lakh were pending against Mr Kant's present residence.
