Preliminary arrangements on for Chandrayan: ISRO head

Chennai, Feb 13 (UNI) All preliminary arrangements were going on in full swing for the launch of the Chandrayan Moon vision, ISRO Chairman Madhavan Nair today said.

Talking to media at the airport here today he said the unmanned Chandrayan moon vision would be launched some time next year.

The launch of an exclusive sattelite for communication purpose would be done next month from the launch pad at French Guyana.

The recently launched PSLV was operating successfully and sending images of various cities back to earth. This included the January 26 Republic Day parade at New Delhi, he added.

UNI
