Notorious criminal held in Rajasthan

Agra, Feb 13 (UNI) A notorious criminal wanted in many cases of kidnapping for ransom has been arrested in Rajasthan, police today said.

Bhura was the prime accused in the abduction of several doctors, transporters and affluent people in Uttar Pradesh. He was active in Ferozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah and Mathura districts.

''After the elimination of his main hench-man Chandra Sen, in an encounter in Lucknow, Bhura shifted his base to Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan,'' police said.

Bhura was arrested on a tip-off by the Rajasthan police yesterday.
