Mundargi passes away

Kolhapur, Feb 13 (UNI) Noted criminal lawyer P R Mundargi passed away following a brief illness here today.

He was 81 and is survived by wife two sons, and a daughter. All three of his children are also practising lawyers.

Mr Mundargi had started his career in 1953 and soon earned a name for himself as a criminal lawyer. He had served as member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa.

He had also served as member of the Shivaji University's executive council, and had been closely associated with educational institutions and co-operative banks here.
