MPHC says PSC results be withheld

Jabalpur, Feb 13 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ruled that the results of interviews based on the outcome of the state Public Service Commission's 2003 written examination be withheld.

Chief Justice Anang Kumar Patnaik and Justice Sureshchandra Sinho yesterday heard the pleas of Mr Yogendra Mishra and others.

Petitioners' Counsel Rajendra Tiwari submitted that several irregularities took place in the written exam and many candidates answer-booklets were reported missing. Such candidates were awarded average marks and the written exam's results announced.
