Mizoram labour union stands against corruption
Aizawl, Feb 13 (UNI) Mizoram Cultivators and Labour Union (MCLU) today has launched a campaign against corruption in the state.
In a statement, MCLU had alleged that rampant corruption had drawn a large gap between the rich and the poor.
Even though the Centre pumps in huge funds to the state there had been no significant development of the poors, the statement added.
They further alleged that a large chunk of the fund is siphoned away by the creamy layers of the society.
''About 30 bureaucrats involved in corruption, who tried to conceal information, have already been identified,'' MCLU claimed.
