Man burnt to death in road mishap

Anand, Feb 13 (UNI) In a macabre accident, a man on a motorcyle was completely burnt to death near Mogar village on national highway number eight between Ahmedabad and Mumbai, According to police, Arvindbhai from Saraspur area of Ahmedabad was passing near Mogar village yesterday at 1030 hrs on way to Vadodara when he was hit from behind by a Maruti van. His motorcycle skided and got struck under the truck.

Arvindbhai and his bike, which started leaking petrol, caught fire while he was dragged for over 100 feet by the tanker.

The bike was completely burnt and so was Arvindbhai.

No arrests have been made so far.
