LJP to contest Palamu, Gwalior byelections

New Delhi, Feb 13 (UNI) The Lok Janshakti Party has decided to contest the Palamu Parliamentary byelections in Jharkhand and Gwalior constituency in Madhya Pradesh.

The party has decided to field Mr Umesh Paswan from Palamu (Reserved) and dalit leader and former MLA Phool Singh Bariya from the Gwalior constituency.

Mr Paswan is the LJP District President of Palamu and Mr Bariya is the Madhya Pradesh LJP President. Mr Bariya was also Madhya Pradesh state President of Bahujan Samaj Party.
