Light showers in city,neighbourhood
Kolkata, Feb 13 (UNI) Kolkata and the surrounding areas experienced light but nagging showers today pulling down the minimum temperature to 17.3 degree Celsius.
The MET office attributed the inclement weather to a depression over the Bay of Bengal. Most of the eastern states, it said, would experience rainfall for the next couple of days.
The MET office has forecast cloudy sky with occasional light to moderate rain or thunder showers tomorrow. The minimum temperature was likely to be 17 degrees.
Till this afternoon 4.3 mm rainfall was recorded.
Humidity was high in the morning which reduced to 46 per cent as the day progressed.
Today's maximum temperature was 26.4 degree Celsius.
