Lalu's in-laws caught travelling without ticket
Chhapra, Feb 13: Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi's aged parents, in-laws of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, were booked by railway authorities on charges of travelling without valid tickets near Chhapra railway station today.
The elderly couple, who were travelling in Sampark Kranti Express, in a first class air conditioned coach, failed to produce valid tickets to the travellers' ticket examiners on demand, railway sources said.
They were, however, allowed to continue their journey after paying a fine.
Railway Minister's father-in-law, Shiv Prasad Chaudhury, and his spouse had boarded the train at Hajipur on their way to Siwan, the sources added.
