ING Vysya Life becomes 'Public Limited'

Chennai, Feb 13 (UNI) ING Vysya Life today announced its conversion from 'private' to 'public' company.

The Ministry of Company Affairs through the Registrar of Companies, Karnataka has approved the change with effect from February 2, 2007 by issuing a fresh Certificate of Incorporation, an official release here today said.

The name of the Company will now be "ING Vysya Life Insurance Company Limited".

Having established itself as a strong private life insurance player in South India and recently completing five years of business operations, ING Vysya Life is now present in over 131 cities with 160 sales teams.

The company currently has 16 life insurance products including five Unit Linked products such as New Freedom Plan, New Future Perfect, New One Life Single Premium and High Life and High Life Plus, available through its diversified distribution platform, the release added.
