Indian, Pakistani border officials to meet in Jalandhar
Islamabad, Feb 13 (UNI) A four-day bi-annual meeting of senior officials of Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers will start in Jalandhar from tomorrow.
''Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh, Maj Gen Javed Zia and BSF Additional Director General NPS Aulakh will lead their respective delegations at the meeting, an official statement said.
It added that the meeting was a part of the ongoing peace process between India and Pakistan and was held every six months to coordinate measures being taken by the two border guarding forces for effective border management, trans-border smuggling and illegal border crossings.
