ICICI Prudential to expand operations
Visakhapatnam, Feb 13 (UNI) The ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Vice-President Anup Rau today said the company would implement its insurance strategies in rural areas for expanding the company's operations in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the press conference here, he said the technological changes, investment income, cash flow projections to expose market risks as well as other risks would be detailed in the reports filed by ICICI bank, joint promoters of ICICI Prudential, with the securities and exchange commission of the United States.
Mr Rau said the company had earned business of Rs 2,722 crore over the nine months starting from April 2006 to December 2006, growing 97 per cent over the corresponding period previous year.
He said the company with a network of over 470 branches, over 1,75,000 advisors and staff base crossing 15,000 made ICICI Prudential asset base the largest among the private life insurers and also made it one of the largest managers of retail funds in the country.
The company was endeavoured to further strength the operations.
The product range including education plans, wealth creation and retirement plans, also assured certain tax saving plans.
