Hailstorm warned in MP
Bhopal, Feb 13 (UNI) Due to an upper air circulation in northern Madhya Pradesh, showers and hailstorm are expected to lash northern and eastern parts of the state, while its intensity will be less in the western parts.
Met department director D P Dubey said Gwalior, Chambal, Rewa, Sagar and Jabalpur divisions are likely to receive showers and hailstorm in the next 24 hours.
The weather department forecast had worried farmers, whose crops were affected by unseasonal rains in the past three days.
The state capital witnessed passing clouds with the weather remaining slightly cold.
Balaghat's Malajkhand turned out to be the wettest place in the region overnight with 47.3 mm rainfall. Satna recorded 17.8 mm, Jabalpur 4.4 mm, Pachmarhi 3.4 mm, Raisen 1.2 mm and Sagar 1.2 mm rainfall.
