Graveyard dug up by mistake: authorities pacify angry group

Kota, Feb 13 (UNI) A row broke out in Raypura area under Udyog Nagar police station area here when officials of the forest department by mistake dug up a graveyard.

A group from minority community was enraged and protested at the action of the officials.

According to information, a graveyard of the minority community and land belonging to forest department are next to each other.

Forest department workers by mistake dug up three holes in the graveyard thinking it to be forest land.

These holes were dug to plant tree saplings. When people came to know that holes have been dug in their graveyard, a number of them gathered and protested.

Later, authorities reached the site and pacified the angry group.
