Govt has neglected common people: BJP

Hyderabad, Feb 13 (UNI) BJP Floor leader N Kishen Reddy today said the State Government had neglected the welfare of the poor, especially Dalits, in the state.

Addressing a press conference outside the Assembly, he said the government had not taken any steps to solve the problems of poor and middle class families in the state.

He alleged that prices of all esssential commodites, like kerosene, gas, rice, pulses and oils, had increased manifold. The Congress government in the state was only protecting the interests of black-marketers and hoarders, he charged.

Mr Reddy said during his eight-day 'Padayatra' in his constituency recently, the poor people narrated their problems, including shortage of essential commodities. Middle class families were making food with firewood due to inadquate supply of gas and kerosene.

The BJP leader asked the Chief Minister to visit his constituency Himayatnagar here to learn the problems of the poor and demanded that the government take steps to enough kerosene and gas.
