Four arrested for killing two school-going brothers

New Delhi, Feb 13 (UNI) In a swift move, that rarely raises its police have arrested four people suspects for allegedly kidnapping and killing two school-going brothers from Gokulpuri area of North-East Delhi, within hours of the crime.

The accused -- Bijender alias Monu, Mohd Nadeem, Shakeel and Vinod -- all residents of Gokulpuri, were arrested after their 'calls for ransom' were traced and the bodies of the brothers, who were missing yesterday, were recovered, said the police.

Chetan (14) and Sahil (13), living in Bhajanpura on Karawal Nagar Road and who went missing yesterday after returning from their school -- Sarvodaya Sr Secondary Model School, Shiv Garden -- had been abducted for Rs four lakh ransom, a call for which was received yesterday evening.

Interrogation revealed the kidnapping was done with the help of Bijender alias Monu, whose brother Sonu worked at the shop of the victims' grandfather.

Soon after 'abducting' the boys the accused killed them after taking them to a forest area in New Usmanpur and fled after dumping their bodies there. They later approached the family through a PCO for money, police added.
