Essential supply to districts being maintained, says CM

Shimla, Feb 13 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today said supply of essential commodities to people in various parts of the state is being maintained by keeping the main roads open for vehicular traffic during the winter season.

Reviewing the arrangements for maintaining supply and services of essential services all over the state here, he said adequate supply of essential services was being maintained in the tribal areas that normally remain closed during the winter season.

Mr Singh said supply of essential commodities to other regions of the state was being maintained and demand for various other items was being fulfilled from time to time.

There was no shortage of food items and other commodities in the tribal areas and sufficient stock was available for consumption during the winter season, he said.
