Developmental work is on in Uri

Srinagar, Feb 13 (UNI) Uri, the worst quake-affected area of Jammu and Kashmir, would get 28 defunct water supply lines fixed by March this year.

Besides, 21 kilometres of road is also being built at a cost of Rs 6.55 crore out of which 13 kilometres road is already completed, an official spokesman said.

Eight out of 35 free fabricated medical sub-centers, coming up in Uri at a cost of Rs 84.38 lakh, have also been completed.

Under Rural Development sector, 223 development schemes were on in two blocks of Uri Sub Division at a cost of Rs 112 lakh.
