Arcelor Mittal ordered to pay more for Brazil unit
SAO PAULO, Feb 13 (Reuters) Brazil's securities regulator raised on Tuesday the price per share that Arcelor Mittal must pay for shares of Arcelor Brasil that it does not already own to 51.27 reais from 47.90 reais.
The regulator, known as CVM, said it raised the price because of an error in its calculation that used wrong information for Arcelor Mittal's share price and dividend payments.
Brazil's rules for acquisitions require Arcelor Mittal to make an offer to buy up all shares of minority shareholders in Arcelor Brasil on the local stock market.
