7 yrs' RI for rape

Badwani, MP, Feb 13 (UNI) A local court has sentenced a person to seven years' rigorous imprisonment on the charge of raping a minor.

According to prosecution, Borlay village-resident Riyaz Khan had abducted a minor and sexually assaulted her in March, 2006.

Additional Sessions Judge D K Goyal delivered the verdict yesterday. A fine was also imposed on the accused.
