37 agitating law college students suspended

Madurai, Feb 13 (UNI) Thirty-seven students, including four girls, of the Government Law College here were suspended ostensibly to crush the week-long agitation, demanding appointment of a permanent principal for the institution.

College in-charge Principal, Ms Isaimathi, took the drastic step on the seventh day today.

Meanwhile, the police had registered cases against the agitating students based on a complaint from the college administration.
