Two dead in car bombing near Baghdad market

BAGHDAD, Feb 12 (Reuters) A car bomb exploded near a popular market in Baghdad today, killing at least two people and wounding 13, Iraqi police sources said, citing initial reports from the scene.

The Shorja wholesale market has been bombed several times in the past. The bomb blast echoed across central Baghdad and sent huge clouds of thick black smoke into the air.
