Three killed in house collapse following rains in UP

Chitrakoot, Feb 11 (UNI) Three people were killed and a woman was injured when a house collapsed following heavy rains here today.

Police sources said the entrance door of an ancient temple fell on the roof of the house which collapsed under the Karbi police station area. Three people, including two brothers, died after they were buried under the debris. The injured woman was admitted to a hospital.

Rains, hailstorm, accompanied with thundershowers have damaged crops here and in nearby areas. Several trees also fell down affecting traffic on the National Highway.
