Techie couple end lives

Mysore, Feb 12 (UNI) Two young lovers have allegedly committed suicide by consuming alcohol laced with pesticide, in a hotel here.

Police today said the victims, P N Rajashekhar (26), a software engineer from Hyderabad, and Vasavi (24), a trainee from Vishakapatnam, had checked into the hotel, last evening. When the room boy got no response from the room this morning, the door was forced open.

The couple, both employees of IT giant Infosys Technologies, were found dead, beside an empty bottle of gin and pesticide.

The duo said in a suicide note that they were happy to end their lives together and the end was inevitable. They requested not to tear their photograph found in the room.
