Policeman commits 'suicide " in Bengal

Barrackpore, Feb 12 (UNI) A 35-year-old constable of West Bengal Police allegedly committed suicide at his Shyamnagar residence midnight last night, police said today.

An unnatural death case was registered with Noapara Police station in North 24 Parganas, informed the police His body was found hanging in the bedroom.

The deceased constable, Debabrata Chatterjee, was posted at Baranagar police station.

Depression might have been the cause the forhis death, police alleged.

The body was sent for post-mortem.
