One smuggler arrested alongwith charas in Kashmir
Srinagar, Feb 12 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested a smuggler alongwith about two kg of high quality charas in north Kashmir, a police spokesman said.
Superintendent of Police, Handwara, Dr Haseeb Mughal said said that a police party on a specific information set up a check point near Tumina bridge at Vilgam in the frontier district of Kupwar this morning.
He said that during the frisking, police recovered about two kg of charas from Rafiq Ahmad Bhat.
Dr Mughal said that police teams have been rushed to other areas to arrest the other smugglers.
