Murder case solved within 24 hours
New Delhi, Feb 12 (UNI) With the arrest of three people from North West Delhi police today claimed to have solved a murder case within 24 hours of the incident.
Dheeraj (19), Amit Kumar (21) and his brother Amresh Rai (20) were arrested yesterday for allegedly murdering Ashok Kumar Shulka, a factory supervisor, in Shalimar Bagh on February 10.
Police said two of the accused-- Dheeraj (19) and Amit Kumar-- were working at the factory and they had some differences with the victim.
The three accused killed the victim out of vengeance, it added.
They had taken away Rs 5,000, a television, a wall clock and some other household goods to mislead the police.
Police recovered Rs 2,000 and all the other stolen articles besides the murder weapon-- an iron rod from the accused.
Further investigations are in progress.
