Mother-daughter strangled, no arrests so far

New Delhi, Feb 12 (UNI) A 57-year-old woman, along with her teenaged daughter, was today found strangled in Najafgarh area of South-West Delhi.

However, no arrests have been made so far, police said.

Ram Rati, who lived in Nangloi, was found dead along with her daughter Sunita (16) at her under-construction house in Najafgarh, police sources said.

The bodies of the dou was first noticed in the afternoon by their neighbours, who said they would often visit Najafgarh to monitor the construction of their two-room house, adding that they were trying to sell out their property.

Police suspect a case of murder as strangulation marks were found on their neck.

The bodies have been sent for post mortem, police added.
