HC issues notice to State on sports lottery

Kochi, Feb 12 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today issued urgent notice to the State after a writ petition was filed against the Kerala State Sports Lottery.

Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan issued the notice following a petition against the State's decision to reduce the number of prizes in the lottery.

The petitioner, K Arun Kumar from Thiruvanathapuram, contended that the decision was arbitrary and illegal, and cheated the public.
