Goa Governor gets honourary doctorate

Panaji, Feb 12 (UNI) Goa Governor S C Jamir was conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity by the Serampore University, Shillong yesterday.

''This is in recognition of Mr Jamir's service to the church and society to the best of his capabilities and the God-given gifts through his exemplary lifestyle,'' an official release said here today.
