'Garuda Vahanam' procession performed

Tirupati, Feb 12 (UNI) The idol of Lord Sri Kalyanvenkateswara Swamy Varu was taken in a procession on famous 'Garuda Vahanam' on fifth day of nine-day annual brahmotsavam at Srinivasamangapuram near here today.

Kolattam, Bhajans and Veda Parayanam were performed as part of the procession.

Thousands of devotees witnessed the procession and offered prayers.

Later in the evening, 'Unjal Seva' was performed to the Lord and his consorts 'Sridevi' and 'Bhudevi' at the Unjal mandapam in the temple.
