Gangrape by Mizo jawans

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Feb 12 (UNI) A tribal woman was allegedly gangraped by three jawans of the Mizoram Armed Forces deployed in anti-naxal operations in Dantewada district in Chhattisgarh.

On a complaint by the woman, police registered the FIR yesterday and initiated efforts to identify the accused jawans.

Police sources said initial investigations revealed that Mizoram Armed Forces jawans were involved in last week's incident at Nakulnar village under Kuakonda police station limits.
