Four held for unlawful activities

Chennai, Feb 12 (UNI) The Prohibition Enforcement Wing (Chennai South) had arrested four persons and was on look out for one more person for consuming liquor and dancing in an unlicensed resort on the East Coast Road in the city on Saturday night.

An official release here said on a tip off, PEW Chennai Additional Superintendent of Police R Palanivel arrested the persons, who indulged in this unlawful act.

The arrested were identified as Bala Murugan (25)Amman mathur (21), Fisal (27) and watchman of the resort Chandran (45).

Police had seized 50 bottles of liquors, laptops and music system from the resort.

The arrested were remanded to judicial custody.
