Einfochips opens 4th design centre in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Feb 12 (UNI) Einfochips, provider of electronic design services to global blue-chip technology companies, today announced the setting up of its fourth design centre in Ahmedabad.

The new design centre, spread over an area of 10,000 sq feet, will house more than 140 engineers. The new centre will focus on complex chip design and verification and product design services for consumer multimedia applications.

Einfochips, currently has three design centres in Ahmedabad and two in Pune with over 600 engineers and is targeting a turnover of over USD 15 Million at 50 per cent growth rate, a company release here said.

''We are witnessing unprecedented growth in design services market. Our endeavour is to continuously seek new ways to add value and benefits to our customers. We are in the process of expanding our operations worldwide and are simultaneously strengthening our home base by adding 300 more engineers in the current year,'' Pratul Shroff, CEO, Einfochips said.

The company has recently set up its Japan subsidiary and Chicago operations. It has also augmented its senior management team with seasoned industry veterans to complement the expanded engineering team.

It has executed over 150 complex chip design and verification and system design projects for customers across the globe. The company also provides solutions and services to leading technology companies like Texas Instruments, Synopsys, Ponico, Rambus, Cypress Semiconductor and Navionics.
