Congress expels former MLA, 4 others
Chandigarh, Feb 12 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) today expelled a former MLA and five others from the primary membership of the party for a period of six years on charges of indulging in anti-party activities in the campaign to the Assembly polls.
Those who were expelled included Raja Singh, Ex-MLA, Morinda, Murari Lal Tantar and Kamal Kishore Sharma of Khizrabad village, Inderjeet Singh Randhawa of Boothgarh village and Gurdev Ghai, Ex-MC, Kurali.
Raj Pal Singh, General Secretary of the party said today that PPCC chief Shamsher Singh Dullo took the action on the reports of the party's election observers.
