Chinese province keen on cooperation with Haryana
Chandigarh, Feb 12 (UNI) The provincial leadership of Jiangsu in China has expressed desire to identify possible areas of cooperation with Haryana.
''The provincial leadership would like to build on the identify possible areas of cooperation, Consulate General of India, Shanghai International Trade Centre, Vishnu Prakash has written to Principal Secretary to the Haryana Chief Minister, M L Tayal.
He also conveyed that Jiangsu Province Party Secretary Li Yuan Chao and Governor Liang Bao Hua were happy to meet Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda during his visit to Nanjing recently.
The Consul General further said, ''Jiangsu is aware of Haryana's IT prowess. The province itself attaches importance to strengthening cooperation with India in the field of software development and is open to receiving an IT delegation from Haryana or even sending a team to Haryana to pursue the matter further.'' The communication said Mr Hooda's suggestion on exchange of cultural troupes too had been welcomed by the Province.
