Chautala seeks survey of hailstorm-hit crops

Ambala, Feb 12 (UNI) Haryana former Chief Minister and INLD Supremo Om Prakash Chautala today demanded a government survey of wheat, mustard, potato and other crops which had been perished in the hailstorm that lashed different parts of the state during the past two days.

Talking to reporters here, he said besides heavy rains and hailstorm, lightning struck many places causing damage to human lives and property. ''All those who had suffered with the calamity should be given due compensation.'' He criticised the state government for allegedly not taking satisfactory measures for flood control in the state.
