BMS worker hacked to death

Thrissur, Kerala, Feb 12 (UNI) An activist of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) was hacked to death by a group of people, allegedly CPI(M) workers, at Kallettinkara, near Kodakara, in this district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Saju(38), a native of Aloor. He is survived by wife and two children.

Police said previous political enmity was said to be the reason for the incident.

Following the incident, a hartal was being observed in Kodakara, Mala, Kallettinkara, Kodungaloor and adjoining areas.
