Attackers fire grenades at Mogadishu police station

MOGADISHU, Feb 11 (Reuters) Unknown assailants fired rocket-propelled grenades at a police station in the Somali capital Mogadishu today, triggering a gun battle with security forces, residents said.

''I heard three big grenade blasts at Madina Police Station, then gunfire erupted,'' said one local man who gave his name as Abdikarim.
