Aptech opens training centre in Mongolia

Chennai, Feb 12 (UNI) Global learning solutions major Aptech has opened a state-of-the-art training centre in Ulaanbaatar at Mongolia.

In his address, Aptech CEO Pramod Khera said "with the government of Mongolia focusing its attention to ICT as a prime mover of socio-economic development, we are looking forward to bringing globally accepted IT education to Mongolia which will accelerate the government's efforts and help it achieve it's National ICT Vision - 2010." Aptech will offer its globally accepted flagship course - the ACCP (Aptech Certified Computer Professional) Programme in Mongolia, he said adding millions of students had been trained on this course globally and were gainfully employed.

Additionally, Aptech will also offer short-term courses to meet the requirements of professionals and skill-based programmes to those looking for a fast track to a career in information technology, he said.

According to a release here today, Indian Ambassador to Mongolia, Mr Yogeshwar Varma and Director of Department of Higher and Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Mongolia, Mr Bat-Erdene, were present on the occasion.
