Three burglars arrested

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 11 (UNI) Police today arrested three burglars and seized 40 sovereigns of gold ornaments worth Rs 3.60 lakh from Palakollu town near here.

Talking to newspersons, District Superintendent of Police (SP) M Jaganmohan Reddy said the arrested D Babu alias Vikramacharya, T Gurumurthy and K Suresh alias Ramanaidu Vaddipalem had committed burglaries in Vijayawada, Narasapuram and West Godavari districts.

He said the trio were nabbed while trying to sell the booty.
