Officials remove fencing on 'actor's land'

Kancheepuram, Feb 11 (UNI) Revenue officials removed the fencing on a piece of land claimed to be owned by actor Mansoor Ali Khan at Nallur near Somangalam in this district.

Police sources said Khan erected fencing around a 2.5 acre piece of land which the officials claimed was poromboke. However, the actor threatened to go to court.

Following a complaint from the Village Administrative Officer, the police registered a case.

Meanwhile, Nallur Village Administrative Officer (VA) Gopalakrishnan rushed to the spot along with Revenue officials and removed the fencing last evening.
