NSE Ltd to help DCB in retail banking ops
New Delhi, Feb 11: In a move to ramp up its retail banking operations, Development Credit Bank Ltd (DCB) has signed a software-supply agreement with Nucleus Software Exports Ltd.
Nucleus Software will provide FinnOneTM solution to help the bank strengthen its loan origination, loan management and collections operations within the retail-banking sector across all its 72 branches in the country, a statement said.
''Retail banks are evolving to keep pace with the changing financial services scenario. We are pleased to be partnering DCB in successfully enhancing their retail operations and customer satisfaction,'' Nucleus Software CEO Vishnu Dusad said.
Nucleus, a global provider of software products for banking and financial sector, with its flagship product, FinnOneTM, today has over 134 clients across the globe.
Private sector bank DCB has access to over 18,000 ATMs and 72 branches and extension counters spread over nine states and two union territories in India. As of March 31, 2006 DCB's deposit base was Rs 3,124 crore while the advances were over Rs 1,867 crore.
