City experiences temperate day

Kolkata, Feb 11 (UNI) With the winter cold on the wane, the city's air is beaming with romance just before the Valentine's day.

Today the minimum temperature rose by three degrees above the normal to 18.7 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was recorded at 28.9 degrees Celsius.

The MET office has forecast a partly cloudy sky at night with the minimum temperature hovering around 19 degree Celsius.

Humidity was very high in the morning at 92 per cent which decreased as the day progressed.

No rainfall was recorded, sources added.
