Bus services to Karnataka suspended

Salem, Feb 11 (UNI) All bus services from Tamil Nadu to Karnataka were suspended from this evening, in view of statewide bandh in Karnataka tomorrow.

Krishnagiri District Collector Santhosh Babu, SP Thenmozhi and Salem Range DIG Alexander Mohan were camping at the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border near here.

Revenue officials said special camps were set up to assist passengers and Tamilians, who were coming from Karnataka, fearing possible untoward incidents.

Meanwhile, Tamil Makal Kootamaibu today staged a demonstration protesting against Kartnataka government.
