BJP star crowd pullers all set to campaign in Uttarakhand

Dehra Dun, Feb 11 (UNI) Former Prime Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani will be visiting Uttarakhand to campaign for the state Assembly elections slated for February 21.

Uttarakhand BJP spokesperson Devendra Bhasin said former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh will address public meetings at Sitargunj, Jaspur and Gadarpur on February 12 and at Laldhang, Bapugram, Rishikesh and Doiwala on February 13.

On the same day, Bollywood actor and BJP MP Hema Malini will address meetings at Bageshwar, Mukteshwar, Haldwani and Bajpur.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will address public meetings at Pauri, Roorkee and Jwalapur. Mr Saheb Singh Verma will address the public of Ladhang.

Mr Bhasin said Mr Advani will address public meetings at Chakrata, Sahaspur, Vikasnagar on February 13. He is also likely to be in Uttarakhand on February 16, 17 and 19. Ms Smriti Irani is scheduled to visit the state on February 14 and 15. Mr Venkatesh Naidu is scheduled to visit the capital of Himalayan state on February 15, Mr Bhasin said.

Mr Vajpayee is likely to address a public meeting at Bageshwar on February 15 and at Srinagar, Garhwal on February 19, the last day of campaigning.
