BJP disrupting communal harmony: Digvijay Singh

Shivpuri, MP, Feb 11 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh today accused the BJP of disrupting communal harmony in the name of religious conventions.

''Ridiculous things are spoken against minorities in these programmes and donations are collected forcibly from businessmen,'' Mr Singh told reporters here today.

He said the Congress would organise a 'Sarva dharma sammelan' to spread communal harmony.

Mr Singh said most of the stone mines in the district were shut, while labourers were without work. Besides, food materials and other daily use materials were not available in the ration shops.

Mr Singh had come to take part in a Congress rally to protest the policies of the BJP Government. Besides, former minister Govind Singh, K P Singh and Mahendra Baudh also participated in the rally.
