9 IAS, PCS officials transferred in UP

Lucknow, Feb 11 (UNI) In a major administrative reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred nine IAS and PCS officers.

UP Transport Commissioner R S Verma has been given charge as Divisional Commissioner, Chitrakootdham.

Chief Secretary, State Programme Implementation Department G B Patnayak has been made Joint Secretary, Union Cultural Ministry.

Special Secretary, State Agriculture Production Commissioner O N Mishra has been transferred as DM, Hameerpur, while special secretary (Home) Saurabh Babu has been sent as DM, Basti.

Joint Magistrates of Allahabad, Jaunpur and Faizabad -- Mayoor Maheshwari, Adsumilli V Rajamauli and Vikas Gothwal -- have been made the Chief Development Officers of their respective cities.

Faizabad's under transfer Chief Development Officer Ravi Prakash Arora has been posted as Special Secretary (Home).

Secretary, Kanpur Development Authority Mohd Ayub has been made Kanpur Additional District Magistrate (City).
